There are 2 private parking lots outside the hospital compound but these too are also always full. The government should look into provide more parking lots. I usually spent half a day there for my appointments. With the new wings added and the specialist clinics under one roof, I must say every time I went for my medical appointments it was very crowded. User ( 18:02) The Sarawak General Hospital has improved tremendously over the years. They are responsible, friendly, humble, work as a team and highly committed. User ( 01:52) The facilities of this general hospital may not be as high end as other hospital in other state of Malaysia, however the attitudes of doctors and staffs here are great.

Fair to say that there is construction going on which may remedy some of the issues at the hospital, but it should be high priority to build second hospital. The photo shows record keeping of xrays out in the hall. It is not clean and who knows what you can catch staying here. It's over crowded with wait times being hours at a time.

This place needs a major upgrade as well as a second general hospital else where in Kuching.
